2020 Changed Everything...

Image
2020 seriously gave us all a knock on our heads (and really everywhere I guess)... with COVID-19, lockdown, elections, BLM, poverty, earthquakes, deaths, and fires, this year is probably one of the worst years recorded in history. And to think that this was supposed to be the start of a new decade- newly evolved ideas, new people, new music, newer technology, and newer ways of life. But in spite of all the hardships and deaths looming around us, this year brought a change in people: it helped us become more positive, thankful, stronger and helped us know that we could get through this year together, even if we thought that we couldn't... 🤯 If we all remember, everyone was celebrating the new decade, the new year: 2020-- and so we start with January . Our year started off with the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, who had been planning to be part of an attack on American soldiers. There was also Brexit happening, and Boris Johnson became the new PM of the United Ki...

The Error of Giftedness

Image Courtesy- Pintrest ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey there Diary, How have you been doing, sitting on the corner of my desk? Actually, screw that question because it's kind of lame. But... instead, I hope you are prepared to hear or really feel the words that I am going to write today. I know you won't judge what I will write 😊. I am going to spill it and not ramble on about something else. It's about what other people think. Now, I know you might tell me that I shouldn't care about what other people think or say or even do! But it really does matter in the end because those are the people who will be there with me in the future, don't you think? I'm in APAAS if you remember me telling/writing this to you a few months ago. Turns out, it isn't as great as I thought it would be. People say that I'm an APAAS freak or I'm too smar...

If there was a 20 minute Frozen 3... ❄️ ☀️

Image courtesy- Pixabay **THIS STORY HAS NO ASSOCIATION WITH ANY OF THE ACTUAL MOVIES AND WAS CREATED ENTIRELY OUT OF MY IMAGINATION... FULL CREDIT GOES TO THE FROZEN MOVIE CREATORS FOR CREATING THE NAMES AND PLACES OF EVERYTHING WRITTEN BELOW It had been two weeks since the events of Frozen 2... Queen Anna had woken up to the direct rays of sunlight shining into her room through her glass windows. She got up and yawned (like most normal people did) and then went to change into her "queenly outfit" as she liked to call it. It was the same routine every day. She had only become queen because her sister, (former) Queen Elsa had become known as the fifth nature spirit and protector of the neighboring forest, and had to stay back "to do what was best for Arendelle." That was why Anna became queen and as she liked to say, "life happened." Now, of course, Elsa visited the castle all the time for family game nights or just like that... but to Anna, life didn'...

Cats are Unpredictable (Part 2)

Okay, people, so this is Adrian here...a cat... or to be more specific, THE CAT starring in my owner's (Alexa's) version of a particular story which I will go into right now. To get to the point, Alexa got some things wrong and so I will clear it out and tell you the right version. So, I want to first clear up the fact that I was not as fat as my owner exclaimed and she didn't gasp out and stammer, "OH MY GOSH." It was more like a gasp with a stare that she couldn't interrupt until one of her friends said something to break her gaze at my glorious-ness (I don't understand why, but my owner is rolling her eyes at me right now... maybe it's because of something weird she did or she got something in her eyes... because last time I checked, humans couldn't understand cats 🙄). Cats are Unpredictable

I called his name, over and over, and (not to mention) over 100 times more. There was just no sign of him anyplace.  You see, my cat Adrian left me to cry in misery two weeks ago... he just disappeared... like the way those street magicians say, "Abracadabra!" and then the person in the box vanishes... just like that. Every day, I used to fill his food out for him and refill his water and milk bowl hoping that he would come home in search of a good meal. To no avail though, did he ever come home. One thing bothered me about this whole situation though... scratch that... make it two. I had raised my little Adrian, a Bengal Cat mind you since he was one day old. I had nursed him to health after finding him on the street outside my Beverly Hill home. You wouldn't be surprised to see Taylor Swift or Katy Perry cruising down the main street every two days or so.  Image courtesy- Pixabay The first thing that bothered me was how he had left... after all the love and time I spent...
